Water gets into the fuel and engine oil from condensation. In addition, water
gets into the engine oil from leaks between the cooling system and other engine
systems. If you run the engine for a while good and hot, the water will boil
off the engine oil. The ways to remove water from the fuel are: emulsifier,
draining, or water separator.

Mitch,

This brings me to another dumb question: where does
the water come from?
