Audi acutally, much bemoaned by postal jeep owners. Theres a kit to replace it
with the 232 I6.

My dad is an Indy general mechanic in Cloverdale, OR. He told me of the
AM
General postal delivery vehicle which he had worked on. I was amazed to
hear
that this vehicle was a conglomeration of parts from different
manufacturers, the engine being supplied by Porsche, a 2.4l four cyl.
