Last time I took a Crapsman broken tool back to snears, they just
sneared at me and said they don't replace broken tools. I figured
I'd try a different store some year.

I have a pretty good collection now of broken/inoperable crapsman
stuff. a breaker bar that won't hold a socket, screwdrivers, a
rachet that won't rachet, a broken tap handle. tap handles with
steel softer than butter etc

I'll buy HF anytime, and if/when it breaks, I can buy a set cheaper
than a single replacement from crapsman. I can't remember ever
breaking a HF hand tool. The sockets and Pittsburgh wrench sets are
good as any.

I do demand a crapsman 1 1/16" deep socket for each Diesel car
toolkit. They have the socket cut all the way up, so you can remove
injector nozzles. Most deep sockets are cut only partway up, with
the top only having a bolt hole, so they don't work on the injector
nozzle holders. I buy those one at a time, and just pay the
price. Its cheaper than the MB special tool. I've only bought 2 so far.
