Lady in OCS & flight training w/ me was about 24 or so. She was already type-rated in lots of airframes, both rotary wing and turbo prop and jet. Instructor pilot and ATP. She'd do a double hop in flight school (do two syllabus flights at once) then take her Navy officer "instructor" back up to work on HIS ATP rating and sign off in his log book as instructor pilot for him. She's been a Captain for (I think) Delta for quite a while now - did one tour in the USCG flying Falcon 20s then said goodbye. ... She was a graduate of Embry-Riddle. She had LOTS of hours.
