Is it Wilton? - or someone else here who wrenched on airplanes some years ago? Maybe you know this item? - 3" tube, 8" long, encasing a watch mechanism that has a nail stem that is 5" long. Clock works, nail turns, clock has no hands and I have no idea what the thing is.
Is this some aircraft mechanism? - from NAS Alameda, tag also reads clock, aero. It has some drawing/part number on the tag also, but I have not been able to scare up anything online to tell me what the bugger does. Any ideas - from the airplane mechanic here? Or, anyone else?
