I'm surprised he took the truck. I'd have been up one side of the seller and
down the other every third word would be "liar". At the very least the seller
wouldn't have gotten all the money. He should definitely give the guy negative
feedback and include the words "lied to me" in the feedback description.
That truck doesn't have a synchromesh trans does it? First thing to do will be
to change the trans oil. With luck its just old and crusty.

Oh, more rant: friend told me during that last call to ''im that he can't
shift from third gear to second while rolling; lotsa gear grinding when he
tries it.
