For some models there is an upgrade beyond this
(installed on my SD) that decreases glow time even
more, gets hotter, plugs stay on while starting (at
lower temp) and then stay on for up to 3 minutes to
help even idle, etc. Beru sells a great kit - the GP's
are not cheap, the relay is and you have to use the
special GPs for this or you will toast regular pencil
ones quickly.
Don't have the link handy, but go to beru.com and
you'll find it...probably not available for 240D...
