found it easiest to remove the entire subframe and then disassemble and
reassemble.  Its surprisingly easy.  Just disconnect driveshaft,
e-brake cables, calipers, etc.  Then unbolt and slide out of the way. 
Having a tranny jack is very helpful.  Curt when are you planning this
job?  Perhaps I could swing North for a visit and lend a hand?

and 201 are nearly identical but correct differential mounts not an
issue on 201.  Spring compressor not really needed on either.  The
springs are straight, just use a floor jack.  Watch out for broken
springs!  Had one on a 201 that spent its life on the KY/IN state
line.  It was broken on the bottom coil.

IIRC a 201 doesn't have a differential mount, the diff mounts directly to the 
subframe...

Aren't subframe mounts a big job on a 201? I've never done them, they're pretty 
easy on a 123...
