Oh sheesh, you missed this one?

Dory's rear end started making very loud roaring at speed. I got a replacement
which was about the same. I bought a parts car ('84 190D, auto 165,000 miles)
with a "dropped timing chain" but decided it was too nice to part out so
decided to move Dory's engine into it.
My Indy discovered the timing chain wasn't broken, instead the cover was
broken, so we replaced that and it runs fantastic.

Its interesting to see the differences between the '84 and '85, the simpler
wiper, glow light in a different place (left side of the steering wheel). I was
worried it would be a slow car but its really not any worse than the manual
was, of course it has half the mileage of my '85...

Since its red and from RI we're referring to it as "RI Red" or just Red for
short. It still needs a passel of little things (shocks, maybe rear links,
heater valve, fan clutch doesn't work (my '85 didn't either), trans and diff
fluid change, swap out the Becker Grand Prix for the Kenwood in the '85, polish
and wax etc..
