 people mistakenly believe that because their engine has a turbo, they
 have to add a T to the model number.  MB has no designation for a car
 with a turbo, (other than the "turbo" trunk badge on US models) as
 that is indicated by the engine type.

I know all that, which is why I asked the question of those who had been
discussing a 190DT this afternoon and evening.
