The rest of the world got the A and B class. An A170D is a world class wagon/van that is very useful and economical.

        SO WHAT IS A 190DT????

There is no such thing as a 190DT There is no 201 wagon

Kind of odd that D-B missed the chance to field a wagon in the
compact-luxury segment in the '80s. BMW made an E30 chassis 3-series
wagon that they sold everywhere but the USA, although a few have
gotten here anyway:

VWAG had the second-generation Passat (Quantum in the USA), which was
kind of in-between the 201 and 124. Maybe the closest equivalent
thing to a 201 wagon you could get here was the 5-door Saab 900.
