Didn't somebody recently say that 'yellow grease' was worth dollars per gallon?
I was shocked that it had that much value. I was thinking pennies, or at most, dimes per gallon. In 2002, one restaurant I talked to paid the renderer to pick it up, and another stuck it in their dumpster in the 35 lb jugs they bought it in.

Here's a link, $0.46 per POUND this spring, which is not too far below gasoline.
