Yes according to the site that Jaime linked earlier in this thread, the 228.31 spec is for "Commercial vehicle engines, Industrial engines from the commercial vehicle sector (BR 300, BR 400, BR 500, BR 900)" Yet I'm guessing it probably won't do an OM-617 much harm.
