No damage.

No.  Well, actually "yes", but only a few degrees warmer and
very slowly. *smiles*

An 800 W heater at 120 V becomes an 80 W heater at 12 V.
Sorry.  Now if you could find 10 batteries to connect together
in series (A- to B+, B- to C+, C- to D+, D- to E+ etc.) it
would work just fine!

Curt used to do that every morning 'cause he couldn't use an
extension cord to plug the car into "shore power".

You will need an inverter rated for at least 800 watts, which
is not one of the inexpensive ones.  Or use a generator.
