It is an EGR code and the light has been off for over 3,000mi. I have to get the ML emissions tested and their test looks for old codes that haven't been cleared...these will fail the test. &^@& IL! Oh, and if your vehicle fails, it must be repaired AND signed off by a mechanic that's paid his dues to the state of IL. They say this is because "emissions faults are hard to diagnose and you might not fix it correctly if you do your own work." What a pot of feces.
