'tweren't my idea, I was just commenting on your seeming lack of acceptance of whomever's idea to douse it with cold water as a diagnostic measure. (It might have sailed by and been missed.)
Does this indicate a worn injection pump?
Replace w/good used. And maybe think twice about your fueling methodology?
