I'm with Andrew on this one. While I do believe that the 2nd. amendment indeed serves the ultimate purpose of enabling armed insurrection in the most extreme circumstances, I strongly believe that all of our other options that the framers of our political system prepared for us will rectify the problems long before that would become necessary.
The internet, the phone and even the written letter still have a great deal of power. If enough people get PO'd we will throw the rascals out without resorting to violence. As I have taught my children: violence is NEVER a good solution. (But sometimes it is the ONLY solution).
