I have battled this pig electrically from the day I bought it.
That car doesn't even need electricity to run. You could be having this problem with _any_ car, from any maker, and most of them would strand you as an extra bonus round. A lot to be said for finding/fixing this problem. I think you just haven't found the real problem yet.
