I think you're falling victim to the faulty logic you claim to be against.
apples, oranges.
Maybe it has been warmer in your little corner, but there have been
more days below zero and more cold records set this year than ever
before.
The problem with all this is that temps have only been recorded in
most of the US only for 100 years, and in some parts only for 300 or
maybe 400 years, but its doubtful there are any meaningful records
available for more than 200 years.
The whole point is that there is not enough recorded history to
determine any special cause variation. The weather has changed
warmer and cooler, then warmer, then cooler since the creation.
Global warming under any name is pure BS. THat has nothing to do
with any politics.
