I was curious if it reads ok until it reaches the low level. Is there any way
electronically to get an oil quantity reading?

that one could be purchased so I researched and bought one that was supposed to
work. I chose one made by a company named "Kommen - Model #KM808-M. I changed
the oil a few days ago and completely drained the oil and replaced with exactly
8.5 quarts of Mobil 1.

measurement reads 11.0 cm and I am not sure why. I did an electronic check
with
the car's computer and it comes back "OK". Any suggestions?

Is it possible for the dash readout to say 'overfilled', or is 'OK' the highest
level?

Mitch.
