Yes. I just finished stripping about 400 sf of roof to put down a double layer of ice and snow block to cure a stubborn series of leaks over a shallow cricket. IMO. CFLs and LEDs just don't cost that much to run. Besides, a little waste heat is a bonus half of the year.
