The 240D clutch is not made for the torque and HP of a

The clutch and pressure plate are the same for Euro 5-cylinder stick diesels as
it is for stick 240Ds. The differences are:
front halfshaft
shift linkages
transmission crossmember
flywheel
And that's it. The flywheel, you can get by with a 240D flywheel. The
transmission crossmember problem can be solved by taking the crossmember from an
automatic (not manual!) 240D. All that's left is shift linkages (orderable from
Germany, was like $60 or so for all three through Rusty last year) and
half-shaft (orderable, but pricey).
Keep in mind, you'll also need to get the driveshaft rebalanced if you replace
or modify the front half.
