No. A P1747 error means the electronics in the transmission are unable to communicate with the electronics in the instrument cluster (A1 module) via the CAN bus. It’s a pretty typical error that often indicates the connector on the transmission harness is the original one without an O ring.
You have to pull the connector and clean it thoroughly then replace it with the redesigned connector that’s about $12 from the dealer. The other possibility is that the bulbs in the cluster were replaced with LEDs or the incorrect bulbs. This can also cause a P1747 error as well.
