Leaks are common at that point. Most can be eliminated by simply tightening the allen bolts holding the oil filter housing to the block. The gasket is simple to replace if necessary.

My luck doesn't run that way. You usually (read always) need the gasket. They turn to stone and have lost there ability to compress.
        It is simple, simply a mess be careful with the cooler lines.
