More likely it just needs to be burped. It will stream bubbles for quite a while with a good head/gasket.

Start it up and leave the cap off, if you start seeing it bubble up its a head/gasket probably. You will see exhaust has escaping

Here's a little more of my thought process when I decided to leave the cap loose:

After filling it and letting it idle for a minute or two when picked it up, I noticed the system had pressure after just that amount of time - maybe a minute or two - that I was afraid there might be a possible head leak or it would overpressure.
