I also fly mostly AA these days. Looking back United is the domestic carrier 
I've flown the least, well except Spirit, I don't think I've ever flown them.
I like AA because I can get a direct to LAX from Hartford. The downside is it 
leaves at 6am which means I need to be out of the house at 3am. I'm debating 
staying at the airport, leaving the hotel at 5am has a lot of appeal.

Very wise.  I fly AA a lot these days and they are both friendly and
punctual.  I have yet to be dragged out of my confirmed seat, either.
