Got up at the usual (5:00 am) but it was too dark to do anything outside. As
soon as it lightened up I washed the 350SDL and spent some time getting it
cleaned up and ready to go to the new buyer, who is going to fly in on
Wednesday and pick it up. Got all the spares loaded up in the trunk and
covered the car to keep it clean until I deliver it.

Pulled the W210 wagon out and cleaned the wheels since they were dirty from the
tire replacement earlier this week. I had the installers leave the wheel
centers out, as I’ve got a set of MB centers with chrome tristars on them
coming. That way I don’t have to pull the wheels to instal them.

The door checks were sort of noisy on this car, so I spent some time getting
some grease (Mobil1 synthetic) into the door checks. Not easy, even with a
mirror, but got a fair amount stuffed into the channels where the balls run
enough that I could tell a difference.

Found a cargo net for the storage area which I installed.

Done with car stuff for the weekend, other than a refrigerant top-off on the
W124 E300D. Gotta coordinate that with the oldest son.

This afternoon it’s off to the sporting clays and pistol range for some target
practice with the Walther and patterning of a couple of shotguns.
