I do not like Performa.  The only time I’ve used them is to sell them cores.  
They’re turnaround is not great and neither are their prices.  I use BBA Reman 
for my stuff when possible.  They were the only place that could fix/rebuild my 
R129 top controller - everyone else, including Performa, wanted to “look” at it 
and charge me a bench fee for the privilege.

BBA Reman did my 2002 W210 instrument cluster that was suffering from the bad 
pixel issue in under a week.  I think it was $110 plus $30 shipping to cover 
both directions (they pay both ways.)
