Heh, I LIKE it.
For the next one I intend to "convert" to kerosene which is a thing lots of
guys do to whitegas lanterns because kero is generally cheaper than whitegas.
Thing is we'll need a filler port, so drill a hole in the plastic body so we
can add kerosene. Then kerosene requires preheat so I'll have to drill a hole
in the top part to add alcohol to preheat. Of course theres no lighting port
but since the "globe" is plastic I can just burn through that with the torch...
Should be fun times, I'll be sure to have my safety squints engaged...

Idea for next vid on "improving" the LED lantern. Start by replacing the
body (plastic) with parts from a metal lantern, in stages. "Reflector and
handle just don't feel right, let's replace those with these sturdy metal
parts..." "I'd like to have the metal fuel tank, need that heft to hold
this thing down in the wind"
Next "Hmmm, this cold blue light just isn't cutting it, maybe I'll figure
out a way to make the color a little warmer by putting this old mantel over
the light..."
Soon you'll have rebuilt the LED lamp into a much-improved version, that
happens to use white gas instead of electrons...
