Marshall, Was this TSB a "recall?" Is there any chance a dealer would
check or update my 124 wagons?

problem, but there could be other wear as well in a 19 year old car.
That doesn't mean that the subframe mounts are good, but it's the first
step. The differential mount (if original) will be almost surely be shot
in an '87 car.
