Yup. Just chipping away. I’m juggling the logistics of the headliner replacement right now. I just ordered my new reproduction dash pad from the supplier in Turkey, which should arrive in a couple of weeks. I started tearing into the dash yesterday and hope to finish that up today. That way I have the wood out of the dash so I can start refinishing it.
I need to drive it over to the headliner guy in the next week or two so he can get an idea of what he’s going to do and can order materials. I have a new MB headliner, but he’ll need some padding and he’s also going to replace the windlace while the car is in the shop, too. Both windshield and rear glass will come out for this, so I’ve got to get seals ordered soon, too. The wife is going in for hip surgery on the 6th of March, so I want to get the car to him before then so he can have it for a week or two to do his stuff while I’m busy doing home health care.
