You can buy those carbs for cheap, hardly worth fooling with them. Just replace 
it. I discovered that on another device a coupla years ago. 

A coupla weeks back my leaf blower would not turn when I pulled the starter 
cord. It’s a Stihl, they said if I used their synthetic oil in the fuel mix it 
had a lifetime warranty (or something like that). So I use the synthetic oil. 
It had not been sitting that long so not sure why it seized. I didn’t want to 
go to the hassle of fighting with them so I decided to see if I could free it 
up. 

Took out the spark plug and squirted a good dose of PB Blaster in there and let 
it sit for a coupla hours then gave it a pull and it spun freely. Success!  It 
fired up after a few cranks and smoked a lot burning off the PB. I noticed the 
mixture adjustment screws had philips heads so got those tuned in too. Running 
much better now. 

I wish these things would just work. They are constantly problematic. Chainsaw, 
blower, weed whacker, all those 2-cycle things.
