I don't know about ship to home, but in store pickup order info is available for two years in the store. If you want a 'lifetime warranty', you better have 'lifetime document retention'. I turned in a 3 year battery for warranty with a printout of my online invoice when the store no longer had my order in their system and I didn't have the cash register receipt from when I picked it up.
