I will trade you straight across for the ML.  Oh wait, nevermind, I would be getting the short end of the deal.

It’s bad. I’ll give you $500 for it since I’m a nice guy and I don’t want to
see you with such a POS.

I really do not think it has a blown head gasket. I pulled the cap on the expansion
tank and they had it filled completely to the top, no room for expansion. With it
pulled I started it up and got it up to temp. The level rose that 1/2" from
where it was to the very top of the opening. I saw no bubbles, no steam like you
would see with a leaking gasket. When you rev it up, no bubbles and it does not
blow coolant out. When you let off the pedal and it returns to idle, the level of
coolant would surge up slightly with some flowing out the opening because it is
overfull. This seems normal to me as the flow of coolant slows down and surges up
for a second. With the cap off the hose never got hard, which one would expect.
Next step will be to drain some of the coolant out to where the tank is at the half
way mark where it should be and see what it does.

It didn’t seem to get hot. It did get up to temp fairly quickly. It ran warmer
than my other one does, but I think it’s got a stuck open thermostat and always
runs colder than it should. After it cools off later on I will open the cap and
see what it does. On my 94 6.5 diesel I know for sure it’s for a blown or
cracked head. Within a couple of minutes of starting it hose is rock hard and
it will start blowing coolant out of the cap. Pic below. I’m assuming it still
has the factory 190 degree thermostat
