Hildegard needs the door regulator mechanism cleaned and lubed before something breaks - in mine, it was the pot metal center pivot that holds the inside of the coiled up spring. I made a new one from an old large bolt, ground down to size and the slot cut with a hack saw and Dremel. That was a pain, but a lot less expensive than buying a new regulator!
