That is not a typical blown cap from dialectic failure - that is, cheap capacitors. The tell-tale on that failure is it swells. Sometimes to the point of exploding. No evidence of swelling, so the capacitor may actually be okay. But clearly the smoke has been let out, and something is very unhappy. Conductive glue sounds like a very valid culprit. Is that a hole in the side of the "bad" cap? Or just smoke damage to the outside?
