As I recall, I popped out the BJ with a LFH.  Then used the HF tool to press in.  Easier on 124 than 126.   I think the HF tool got off center and cracked the boot on the new joint, so it got shoogooed.

With the borrowed 126 tool from Q, the 126 ones went in slick and easy.

I am getting ready to do ball joints on a 201.  I have done a 124 before using the HF tool and some sections of cast iron pipe connections for adapters.  With this setup I got it done on the 124 years ago but it was a pain in the ass.  I have located the pipe pieces I used but in the move I have no idea where the HF ball joint tool went to.  I figure this would be a good time to just get the proper one.  So, with that said, what is the proper tool?  Car has about 180K on it, should I just pull the control arms and replace the bushings also?  That requires another special tool to press those in and out?
