Don, My local FLAPS has the stuff on the shelf, so I ordered some for pickup tomorrow morning. I’m thinking I can cut some small scraps of 1” tubing to place over the crack to close the hole up a bit before I apply the stuff.
This is far simpler than trying to wrap something around it. And if it doesn’t work, on to the next suggestion! More as I know it.
