Wow that's not much time. In Indiana it's 30 days I think, maybe 45?

The three days is the longest I can drive it without registration, and I better be on a pretty straight line between point of purchase and my home when I get pulled over for driving without a plate, because that grace period is for purposes of getting it home, not driving it around. Again, I'm talking long established law, which might have COVID relaxations on enforcement now that I can't just wait in line at the SoS office for title transfer papers and registration.
