I ordered 2 transmission service kits for the $900E500 and $1200ML500 Thursday evening. Selected the free shipping option that said it would be here next Friday. Ok fine. 2-day shipping was a lot.
Got messages this morning it’s on a fedex truck for delivery today, shipped out of Milford CT yesterday. Free 2-day shipping, almost as good as Amazon Prime which delivered a fluid pump yesterday evening late after ordering it Thursday too. Learnings: Don’t pay for expedited shipping. Looks like I can try to get the $1200ML500 sorted tomorrow, see if I can get it transmitting properly. The E I gotta send off for a new conductor plate ($$$) and get that running. If the ML works that’s a quick flip as I don’t particularly care for it. Even if not I’ll try to unload it. The E is very nice and entertaining to drive though a quite boring color combo, so I might enjoy it for a little while and pretend to be a boring old white man. Maybe I should break out some black knee socks and sandals. --FT Sent from iPhone _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
