Good call, Grant. Even if you have to buy a new drain pain, it’s likely much cheaper than buying a couple quarts of ATF.
I have a drain pain I keep spotlessly clean for such things. When I’m done using it I clean it out and store it inside a cabinet inverted so no dust or crud gets into it. -D > On Nov 10, 2021, at 12:17 PM, G Mann via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> > wrote: > > How about just capture the fluid that comes out is a clean container [very > clean] and seal it up while you are doing the repair, then put it back in > the trans? > It was working before, why not put it back in, just do a clean job of > saving it. > > On Wed, Nov 10, 2021 at 10:03 AM dan penoff.com via Mercedes < > mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > >> To be honest, it’s all hydraulic fluid.
