It's a little easier if the car has run recently. The part that had menervous is that the car seemed to have been sitting for a while unlicensedand uninspected.
The Mosier 240D could not have made it home, not easily anyway. The bad wheel bearing would have stymied me on the road. Everything else keeping me from home could have been dealt with by toolkit and FLAPS. But who knows how long it would have taken me? Given its (falsely) reported 'bad tranny' it would not have been a wise bet. -- Jim
