I hope one of these never comes my way, I'd be tempted.
It seems doubtful that these cylinders would be all that much
harder to deal with, individually, than was the rear strut in
the 560 SEL. See:

I spent $9 on parts for it. That was 12 years ago, and it's
still holding up. (Not getting driven a lot, though.)
