As an Arizona resident, I have a 5 year hard line on life of tires. The UV
exposure in AZ cooks the sidewall rubber to the point of failure. I have
had 4 tires simply explode from sidewall failure while parked. All were
past the 5 year life limit. Had the vehicles been loaded, at highway speed,
the outcome would not have been good.. or, likely survivable.
It's your safety, so you decide.
