Many years ago I bought a Homelite (?) plug-in saw. It has always worked when I needed it, though it's weak and small compared to my two Stihl saws.
I'm not sure which would piss me off more: getting a cranky gas saw started, or dealing with aging batteries. The plug-in saw has neither drawback. For a quick branch or three, within easy reach of a plug, it's a no-brainer. For a mobile current bush, an inverter on the truck would be easy. For anything of any size or duration, the Stihl 036 all day long. It's not _that_ hard to get started. For limbing I use a lighter Stihl MS170, but at only 1.6HP it's feeble compared to the 4.5HP of the 036. -- Jim > On Mar 1, 2023, at 7:21 PM, Kaleb Striplin via Mercedes > <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > > Has anyone bought an electric chain saw?
