If you are going to buy a refurbished saw, it might be wise to use it
lots quickly in order to establish that it is a good one (while you have
the warranty in place).

I've had good luck with refurbished stuff. Often the "refurb" is really
re-packaging. Box got wet or stabbed by a fork truck, can't be sold as new...
