I have two mini-splits that are rated at 100% down to 4F (or maybe -4F, I don’t 
recall - it’s one of these.) No complaints by the users when it’s in the single 
digits, which is uncommon. Teens, not so much, but single digit temps are not 
common.

That being said, my electric bill suggests that they’re not the most efficient 
way to heat compared to natural gas.
