Are you sure they're not just looking for "plain text" instead of potential html from a website?
If I'm understanding correctly, you are just looking for a plain text file at the end, right? Or do you need a picture? Oh wait.... This special program they have is what you have to use and that program actually does the OCR and only takes in pictures. Is that right? If that's the case... Its complicated actually. Im needing it for work. We have this deal where we can scan newspapers ads, process them, batch them and send them to our telemarketing people. Or we can pull leads from websites by copying the text we want, it then will pull it into another program where its then saved as a text file. For some reason the program thing will not process those like that. According to my tmk people down in orlando, you have to print the leads from the website, scan them, ocr then then read them.
