I guess if I have to get under the 123 chassis to do the converter, and the tranny filter I might as well pull the bango fill tube. Problem was last time I did this on my 1977 300D I did not seal the filler tube right and it leaked real bad and I had to go back and correct. Operator error

Why not disconnecting the return line at the cooler and hooking up the
sucker there? Still won't drain the converter.
