notion that only Diesel fuel pump nozzles should be green - there's been more than a few (BP?) stations with green nozzles on gasoline pumps."
There are some Mobil stations here in AZ (where I stop to get Joe, not fuel) whose diesel pumps hoses and handles are yellow.
